The digital clock on Jay's nightstand blinked 7:00 AM,

Jay - ohh shit i will be late today also .

Keifer was standing by the counter, holding his phone in one hand while expertly flipping an pancake with the other.

Keifer- Morning, sleepyhead .

She mumbled, leaning against the counter and resting her chin in her hands.

But over the last forty-eight hours, the chats had grown suspiciously silent.
